So after seeing other ppl talk about what they did in 2011 i thought it would be great to recap everything that happened to be Good/Bad in 2011.

Good

1. spent new years with my girls

2. Finished off my last semester as a TERP

3. Went to Fort Lauderdale/Miami for Spring break….AGAIN!!! lol

4. Spent a lovely last semester as president of UGC

5. Got to enjoy my sorority and newest addition for the 3rd year.

6. Actually graduated from College

7. Was elected as VP the National Board of Alpha Theta Gamma Multicultural Sorority Inc.

8. Was able to invite majority of my family that lives in the U.S to my Graduation and Cookout and they actually came.

9. Surprised my dad with him being able to see his long lost sisters, nieces and nephews.

10.Had my first “Surprise” b-day party EVER…even though i found out before the party

11. Oh yea 2011 was when i was so indecisive about what i wanted to do after undergrad so i applied to all of the grad schools first then was like i really don’t want to do that and then hurried up and applied to any law school that was still accepting applications at the end of Feb- early March.

12. I always say that everything happens for a reason and my whole life i have wanted to study law..and i deviated from that just to come right back to it. I truly believe that it is my calling and anyone can see that with how much i enjoy reading and participating in class. 

13. Made my first major move as a young adult to Charlotte, NC and really like the area and currently one of the place im thinking about practicing after Law School.

14. Have a close knit of friends in Charlotte who are equally or even more motivated than I am.

15. Finished my First Semester as a Law Student on a good note…at least i believe so only got one grade so far. Legal Writing aka LP=B

16.Having great friends from UMD that i still talk to and have lasted through the times especially Melz… that has been an acquaintance since middle school and besty since Bowie High.

17. Finally completing my goal of going NATURAL on December 5, 2011

18. Have chilled on relationships and just concerned with me at the moment and loving it…

Bad

1. Portuguese Kicked my Butt

2. Madd drama with Greek Life that was unnecessary from ppl who had nothing better to do with their time

3. Receiving my first rejection letter from a higher education EVER. All 9 schools i applied to for undergrad i got into so that was something new.

4. Having to apply for loans and stuff for the first time ever….it is a very interesting process.

5. Getting robbed for the first time….and my apt at that…but then i learned the good of having renters insurance.

6. After bring my aunts and cousins back together only one has survived with her children which is sad… they are all sooo catty!!!!

7. My finances….ugh it will get better next year

So now that all of that is done…i am looking forward to 2012 and all of the blessings to come. I am proud of where i am at and know that there is so much more to come. Have my bucket list and plan for the year…so lets do it!!!!!!
