It is so interesting to see this society that we live in where there is such an easy way of the “Majority” turning against any “minority” group when anything is going wrong in the country. They use minorities as scapegoats for their shortcomings instead of realizing the the problem in which they fight to fix is within...

Relationships
Im seeing more and more friends who are dependent on a man to help with their self confidence issues and it blows me because they are worth so much more than the lies, cheating, disrespect, emotional and physical violence. Like i see it but when i say leave him alone or i suggest a different person it falls on deaf ears…then when everything hits the fan they will be left with more baggage...

Career Update
So i’m so excited to start this job at the theatre out in NoDa. Starting to see the light in my pursuit for a Sports and Entertainment Law practice. There are so many changes that should be happening in 2012 and I am just following the lead of the almighty and opening my soul to receive the signs and messages he is throwing my way.

Its funny how the Giants playing the Patriots in the Superbowl brings back memories of freshman year. Had this bet with a friend that the Giants would win and he was all pro-patriots. Like we talked on the phone the whole game and finally when i won!!!! So now I’m just thinking about that friendship in general and i really don’t know what happened from freshman year to to Junior year...

I have a different expectation of the men i am in a relationship which i now notice is not universal amongst all women. I will not tolerate a man who does not have knowledge of basic courtesy like:
1. acknowledging everyone in the room when they enter your living space
2. Actively talking to your friends and participating in a group convo
3. Who asks questions rather than assume
4. Respects...

After getting acquainted to the whole area i have come to the conclusion that i belong in NoDa aka the Georgetown of Charlotte… Its perfect for what i want to do with Entertainment law and its where my Job is at… July will mark an exciting move….. I’m talking it into existence!!!

He works for the airlines so it is easy for him to travel to charlotte but they have since broken up because they had their first face to face argument and did not know how to approach it or address it because before it has only been over the phone...

Why do Africans separate themselves/ourselves from...
There are many reasons for it, someone asked this question and I want to hear your experiences, and opinions. To get the political correctness out the way not everyone is guilty of this.
I feel like it surpasses even just Africans most first generation or early generation immigrants from Africa, Caribbean, ect. Dont identify with African Americans because we have totally different histories...
